Bibi Cheung

I took my training and education in London, UK, one of the world’s leading fine design and craftsmanship city. Gratefully, I have experienced being taught by many excellent and highly skillful professors, who still work with world famous brands to the present day. It’s not just about learning their skills; it’s also about the sense of creating luxury items.

There are endless and interesting themes from different cultures. I adore all kinds of art from architecture, textiles and nature. I record all these beautiful spirits in my mind. Very often I refine thoughts and ideas into a stunning element for my collections. My excitement is to transform them into the best original and imaginative works.

Education

Bibi achieved a distinction with her “Postgraduate Certificate in Silversmithing, Jewelry and Allied Crafts” and received her “Master of Art in Applied and Visual Culture” at the internationally renowned (Sir John Cass) London Guildhall University in the UK. There she originally received formal training as a master jeweler and fine jewelry designer.
Bibi has a number of “City and Guilds of London Institute” advanced craft certificates, which is Britain’s largest technical testing and qualifying body for professionals. She achieved a very remarkable result in fine jewelry designing with distinction, diamond mounting technical skills, precious stone setting and hand engraving. She became a professional designer, jeweler, setter and engraver.

Bibi was one of the 25 best students in the UK to be invited to the course “Introduction to Business for Jewelers and Silversmiths”, organized by The Worshipful Company of Goldsmiths (UK). In the summer of that same year, she received a very memorable interview by the UK Brand Director of Cartier Ltd.
